In this 2-part workshop, we will go through the design process from beginning to end based on your own photo of a building or location (photo not required for the first class).
I will be sharing my approach to design, color and materials. I believe we all have the ability to create beautiful pieces that are unique to us.  I know it can sometimes be challenging and even scary to trust ourselves and our abilities to design. We are often taught to believe there is 'one' right way to do something and it is best to leave the design aspect of rug hooking to the 'real' artists. Yet we can all be artists if we are willing to try and I love helping people to tap into their inner artist and surprise themselves with what they can create ♥
Saturdays, February 27th and March 6th, 10am to 12 EST (Ottawa time)
I will send a Zoom link once purchased.
*I will not be teaching 'how to hook' in this workshop, but rather 'how to design'.  Open to all levels of rug hookers.

*Each session is recorded so you can rewatch or catch up if you need to miss a class.
*Materials are not provided but your will need: paper, pencil, marker (eg. sharpie), ruler, hook, hoop/frame, the backing fabric of your choice, scissors, images/photos of architecture you love, a variety of wool/yarn in colors that appeal to you.
