Join me in my home studio to learn how to use the regular Oxford punch needle #10 to punch with both rug yarn and with wool fabric strips on this fun and simple 13'x13" design.
This can be used as a decorative pillow top or a chair pad. How to finish with a braided edge will be demonstrated along with how to attach to a pillow.
Materials needed (KITS Available HERE) or use your own supplies:
A gripper frame (ideally with an opening 14x14" or larger)
Oxford punch needle #10 Regular
Monk's cloth (minimum size 20"x20")
Washed wool fabric cut in #7 OR #8 cut (1/4" wide) and as long as possible (minimum 15" long)
Rug yarn (like Briggs and Little 4ply 'Super')
Scissors, needle and thread for finishing
Optional: pre-made throw pillow case in coordinating colour (eg. IKEA)
No experience required, limited to 6 students.
