A Monthly Studio for Starting — and Finishing — a Big Rug (whatever size that means to you!)
Have you been dreaming of making a larger rug but feeling overwhelmed by the size, colour choices, or the commitment?
This monthly Zoom workshop is designed to support you from first idea to finished rug, with steady guidance, accountability, and community.
Everyone works on their own rug project — traditional rug hooking or punch needle — at their own pace. We’ll focus on thoughtful planning, manageable progress, and staying connected to your piece over time.
Together, we’ll:
-
Plan colour palettes and value
-
Talk through scale, backgrounds, and design decisions
-
Problem-solve as challenges come up
-
Celebrate progress (big and small!)
-
Keep momentum going so your rug doesn’t end up folded away
I’m also happy to create custom yarn kits for your project if you’d like extra support pulling colours together.
This is a supportive, relaxed studio space — not about perfection, but about showing up and making steady progress throughtout the year

Cost: $175 for the whole year!
