In this online workshop you will learn the fundamentals of 4 traditional backgrounds used in Chéticamp style rug hooking while making this 8"x8" sampler. The kit includes the pattern on burlap (the preferred backing for this style hooking) and the fine wool yarn required. A handmade Chéticamp style hook is optional.

About the teacher:
Betty Ann Cormier is originally from Chéticamp, Nova Scotia. Learning from her maman, Betty Ann is the fourth generation who took up the craft of rug hooking 58 years ago. She designs, hooks and dyes her own wool. She has been teaching rug hooking for over 15 years.
